Stich Angell Wins Summary Judgment in Construction Defect Case

Stich Angell attorneys won Summary Judgment in a construction defect case for a General Contractor against a townhome association. The General Contractor was no longer in business and its assets had been discharged in bankruptcy. We persuaded the Court that the Association’s claims were time-barred where it was aware of an actionable injury and failed to bring its claims within the statutes of limitations under Minn. Stat. § 541.051 and under federal bankruptcy law.
