With over 50 years of legal experience, Bob Stich is widely known as one of the best civil defense attorneys in Minnesota. Since founding the firm in 1972, Bob has grown Stich Angell around his steadfast reputation for effective and ethical representation. He’s known for strategically advancing his client’s cause with each step made in litigation, as well as the professionalism and integrity he has exemplified throughout his years of practice.
Bob has litigated cases in over a dozen states, and has handled jury trials in nearly every courthouse in Minnesota. His extensive trial experience includes cases involving personal injury, products liability, personal torts, professional liability, and employer liability.
Bob serves as mediator and arbitrator in civil cases, where his breadth of experience and no-nonsense style make him an effective mediator and evenhanded arbitrator. Always willing to share his extensive legal knowledge, Bob regularly acts as a mentor for attorneys in and outside the firm, and has served as senior visiting professor at Palecky University Law School in the Czech Republic.
A graduate of Saint John’s University in 1960 and University of Minnesota Law School in 1963, Bob is a member of the American Board of Trial Attorneys and is listed in Leading American Attorneys as well as the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He has also been annually recognized as a Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law & Politics. Recognizing the paramount importance of maintaining professionalism in the practice of law, Bob frequently lectures and writes on the topic.
Bob is admitted to practice in Minnesota state and federal courts, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
